Every time Jesus said something like, "If you had faith as a grain of mustard seed..." He was not saying to the disciples that they needed faith. He was saying, "Faith is not the issue because a person needs so little (mustard-seed size) to do great miracles (cause the mountain to go to the sea)."

You do not need more faith. You either believe or you don't. You merely must stop disqualifying yourself with thoughts of why it won't work for you. Instead, you need to start qualifying yourself using Jesus' very own words. Then just go out and start doing it, the Bert way. Don't do it my way, or Roger Sapp's way, or anybody else's way... YOUR way is the way Jesus wants you to do these things.

I cannot tell you how simple it really is. WE MAKE IT SO HARD by thinking we need something else before we start. Like, "I need more faith" "I need less doubt" "I need to pray more" "I need a special anointing" "I need to stop sinning"... all of these thoughts disqualify yourself. QUALIFY yourself with things like, "I don't need more faith, Jesus said I had enough" "I don't have any doubt because Jesus said I can do His works" "I don't have to pray more because that doesn't make Jesus faithful to His word" "I don't need a special anointing because Jesus said anybody can do His work" "I don't need to stop sinning because I'd have to leave planet earth to accomplish that and Jesus' blood is enough for ALL my shortcomings."

These thoughts QUALIFY you. Then the doing of it just becomes a VERY RELAXING experience.QuantumGreghttps://www.blogger.com/profile/07410047060125951426noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7278360302231776916.post-17537570631626187322010-11-05T10:55:38.528-07:002010-11-05T10:55:38.528-07:00"I have found the biggest hindrance to healin..."I have found the biggest hindrance to healing is believing there are hindrances to healing."

--that makes a lot of sense, Greg! I'm mentally working through those "hindrances" and still needing to grow in faith.Berthttps://www.blogger.com/profile/12777042729275001085noreply@blogger.com
